What this cable is built for.
Featuring a maximum 144 fiber count, this cable utilizes a high-capacity multi-loose tube architecture designed to maximize bandwidth density in structural backbones without adding metallic elements. At the heart of the cable is an enlarged Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) central strength member, providing the necessary tensile rigidity to support its higher mass while remaining entirely immune to electromagnetic interference. The 144 single-mode fibers are distributed across twelve distinct PBT loose tubes, each housing 12 fibers immersed in a moisture-resistant jelly compound to eliminate micro-bending and structural attenuation. All twelve active tubes are stranded around a central PE cushion to establish a uniform 15.8 mm outer profile.
Built to withstand demanding environmental conditions, this cable utilizes an ultra-reliable flooded-core water-blocking framework. The inner core is fully saturated with specialized cable gel and bound tightly by a protective water-blocking tape, ensuring complete protection from water migration. For streamlined handling and termination, the jacket includes two integrated ripcords for clean tearing. The heavy-duty assembly is completed by a rugged, black High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) outer sheath that provides top-tier resistance to UV radiation, mechanical abrasion, and outdoor weathering.
