Featuring a 96 fiber count, this cable utilizes an all-dielectric multi-loose tube design engineered for high-density deployments without the use of metallic components. At the heart of the cable is a robust Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) central strength member that delivers excellent tensile strength while ensuring complete immunity to electromagnetic interference. The 96 single-mode fibers are organized into eight PBT loose tubes, each containing 12 fibers and a moisture-resistant jelly compound to prevent micro-bending and attenuation. These eight tubes are precisely stranded around a PE cushion to maintain a perfectly circular cable profile with a nominal outer diameter of 12.8 mm.
Engineered for exceptional long-term reliability in harsh environments, this cable incorporates a double layer of defense against moisture ingress. The structural interstices are filled with a specialized cable gel, wrapped in a heavy-duty water-blocking tape to stop water tracking in its tracks. Dual integrated ripcords allow for fast and efficient sheath removal during installation. The entire core assembly is encased in a rugged, black High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) outer sheath that offers superior resistance to UV radiation, environmental stress cracking, and mechanical wear.
